Rail welding equipment

The welding machine is designed for flash-butt welding of rails with cross-section of 6500²  to 10 000 mm² using  continuous or pulsed flashing under field conditions with burr removing immediately after welding being a part of movable rail-welding plants.

The welding machine is designed for flash-butt welding of elements of the railroad  cross-pieces of special steel  with respective parts made of rail steel or for welding of rails with a height of 140-195 mm with cross-section of 5000²  to 15 000 mm²   in stationary conditions, with burr removing immediately after welding.

The rail welding machine K1000 is designed for flash-butt welding of rails with cross-section of 5000² to 10 000 mm² using continuous or pulsed flashing in stationary conditions with burr removing immediately after welding.

The container-type rail welding machine К1000 (welding complex) is designed for flash-butt welding with continuous of pulsed flashing of the rails with cross-section of 5000 mm² up to 10 000 mm² into the rail strings up to 1000 m in length during construction of jointless (including high-speed) railways with burr removal immediately after welding.

The machine is a re-equipped version of K1000 machine due to the need to weld the alloy steel rails, as well as to weld rail sections comprising isolated joints.

The press is designed for testing the strength and plasticity of welded joints of rail samples at rail welding enterprises. The press allows testing rails of different quality categories (non-thermostrengthened, thermostrengthened, thermostrengthened of the highest quality) with the applied load on both the head and the base of the rail.
